In the digital world of 2011 and beyond, we see information technologies increasingly embedded in organizations’ products, services, processes and decisions. Trends in the use of the Internet for multimedia, scalable platforms, social media, analytical software, wireless technologies, internetworking, and new human sourcing arrangements are changing the way business is conducted. Collectively, these trends indicate that there is greater potential to leverage the advantages of digitization.
